Rhett Turner launched Red Sky Productions in 1999 with the release of an environmental documentary, Pollinator in Peril. During the following two years, Red Sky Productions shot and produced two films: a video for the Low Country Open Land Trust in Charleston, South Carolina and a second documentary, El Lobo: The Song of the Wolf. Most recently, Red Sky received acclaim for the 2003 PBS documentary Avoiding Armageddon. Currently Red Sky is producing and shooting a video display for the High Museum of Art in Atlanta on the sculpture David by Renaissance artist Verrocchio.
